Wearing the Right Color

Fashion and colors are always connected.  There are certain colors of clothing that we wear to feel good.  Some are worn because it’s where we are most comfortable with.  Little do many people know is that there’s a big chance you subconsciously pick that color based on deeper personality traits or characteristics.  Like bright or pastel colors: they all say something about a person that some may not even realize.  So take a full understanding of what color people wear most often and read on to see what it all means.

Black – This color is known for elegance, authority and respect.  Most businessmen choose this color as a sign of power and morale.  Classic and sophistication are how businesswomen describe it.  As most fashion experts say, every woman should own at least one little black dress and that black is the most slimming color (same goes with a black bikini too!).

Blue – Blue is most worn by those looking to create their own aura of serenity.  Since it is the most recognized color because of the sea and the sky, it is therefore associated with calmness making people feel peaceful and content.

Green - It is widely known as the color of nature and healing.  Green is usually worn by those who are calm in nature and have the desire to help others around them.  It also represents growth and wealth, so if you are looking to restart your life, green is your choice of color.

Pink – This color is recognized as a feminine color.  It is the best color for women in all types of clothes, from intimates, to summer dresses up to skimpy bikinis.  A pastel pink is good to wear on a first date as it shows the other person that you're capable of being romantic and in love.

As we all can see, colors do have a bang on people's perception and everyone has different opinions.   So stop making the wrong impression and just do what is most important and wear what makes you feel comfortable and happy.

Beauty Benefits of Virgin Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is now name-dropped as “the healthiest oil on earth.

It was recently endorsed by Miranda Kerr as her latest must-have beauty product.  And the most obsessed beauty regimen by Hollywood women like Madonna and Demi Moore.

Never mind that it is found in the kitchen or in a local health food store because based on research here are the 5 most known benefits why coconut oil is now a woman best go-to beauty buddy.

Hair Conditioner

A lot of experts say that coconut oil is the best to use for dry, damaged and
frizzy hairs.  It helps moisturize the hair as its natural oils repels water and prevent frizz.
It also penetrates hair better and prevents protein loss than mineral and sunflower oil.  It also helps
scalp from the harmful and drying effects of the UV rays.  So if you love the beach and
sunbathing much, do not forget to bring coconut oil with you.

Makeup Remover

It is the best makeup remover because coconut oil cleanses dirt and
pollution from skin.  The makeup from a whole busy day at the office including waterproof mascara just melts away.
No hassle unlike most chemical made makeup removers.  Plus with the
coconut oil's antibacterial elements, it leaves skin soft and and enhances its natural glow.

Skin moisturizer

Ever wonder why South Indian women have clear, flawless skin?
Their secret is coconut oil.  Since it is known as the “all-in-one” beauty product, coconut oil has a lot of benefits to our skin.  It can be used as skin moisturizer at daytime and night cream during
bedtime.  It is very good at hydrating skin and also flushes impurities away.
It also soothes bug bites, speeds  healing, helps with rashes, gets rid of flaking skin, softens and shrinks wrinkles, protects against sun damage, keeps tans longer, acts as an antioxidant to prevent cellular aging,
and so much more.

Lip Balm

Chappy lips can be healed with coconut oil.  It acts as a softening agent and also has
SPF to protect dry lips.

Weight Loss

An interesting fact about coconut oil is that although it is a fat, it actually helps
with weight loss.  Because it contains healthy medium chain fatty acids rather than long chain
fatty acids like some other commonly used oils, the body uses coconut oil for energy and does
not store much of it as fat.  In this way, it helps to boost the metabolism and control cravings.

It’s good to know that we have natural substance like coconut oil that can be much help and use.
Stay fit and live healthy.

Swimwear Shopping is Really Fun

“I have cellulite. I admit it. But sometimes I just say, ‘Screw it, I am going to wear a bikini.“ - Cindy Crawford

Shopping for a swimsuit can be a nightmare for some women.   And there seems to be an equivalent dread to just the thought of it – swimsuit shopping is unequivocal questioning of weight and self confidence.

“I look so fat!”

“My cellulites are all over.”

“Weird bulges are showing, hmm.”

“Wait!  What is THAT?  Is that even my body part?”

If any of these sounds familiar to you, then you are not alone.  Many out there are fighting the same fight of getting that perfect swimwear.  There’s too much pressure in the summer with some invites from your girlfriends to go on a beach spree.  And you can imagine how awkward it would be in your group’s jump shot picture with the others in bright bikinis, while you are in your floral shorts and tops you normally wear at home.  With this thought, you just wish the rainy season is here when hoodies just spell comfort.

However, this doesn’t have to be a nightmare.  Instead we may take it as a challenge.  A challenge of doing what we think we can’t do.  A challenge of confidence and acceptance of our bodies.

Would you rather - than hiding what we think the world doesn’t want to see - we show what we believe the world doesn’t really care about too much.

And there’s one more important thing worth mentioning.  Not all swimsuits are created equal.

You see an ill-fitting swimsuit in front of a mirror in a mall with a $ 15 tag on it and you instantly blame it on your body.  Sometimes it is what it is – it’s ill-fitting.  The quality put in its production is worth less than its cheap price.  Go figure.

It is a fact – women do not need to be as skinny as VS models.  There are great brands that you just need to look out for.  One of which, Sundae designs bikinis that are both sexy and sophisticated at the same time that it is hard to look wrong in one.

More so,  given that you have the perfect fit of bikini – no, it doesn’t really matter if you are overweight – it is how we wear it that is most important.  And the sad truth is we give too much weight on what others think of us.  The truth is everybody else in the beach is there not to ogle at you but to spend good time with family and friends, and just lay down on the fine sand while looking out at the ocean and horizon thinking how life can be so perfect as it is.
